Impulse Plenum Plate Set (fuel vapouriser)
Produces up to 15hp more with exhaust headers and improves fuel economy
Impulse plenum plate bolts-on to the underside of the intake manifold and connects to the cooling system with 2 heater hoses. This allows hot water to circulate below the carburetor to vapourise the fuel as it enters the intake manifold. As a result this produces a faster burn and more combustion pressure (torque) which improves acceleration, towing power, responsiveness and fuel economy. It also prevents stumble and hesitation from a cold start.
If the underside surface of the intake manifold is severely corroded, the surface should be machined to allow the Impulse plenum plate gasket to correctly seal. The plenum plate is made from 10mm steel, zinc plated and comes with 2 brass nozzles, 4 x hi-tensile bolts and gasket.
